ST. PERPETUA FAITH FORMATION Classes Begin Sunday, September 23, 2012 and Tuesday, October 9, 2012 Registration packets were mailed on July 26 to all families currently enrolled in Faith Formation. If you did not receive a packet or if you are registering for the first time please contact Kristine at kristine@stperpetua.org Dear families, Welcome to the St. Perpetua Faith Formation program. It is always exciting to introduce our programs for the coming season of faith formation. It is our goal to provide the fundamentals of our faith in an engaging and supportive atmosphere. Primary Faith Formation includes Kindergarten through 5th grade. This program includes First Eucharist and First Reconciliation preparation. In the faith formation program children meet weekly with their catechist leaders to learn the practices of our faith, our beliefs and to explore how to make God an everyday part of life. Our classes are held in the school classrooms. Attending weekly Mass is an essential part of the child’s religious education. In order to provide the Sunday students with a complete program we have revised the start time to allow children the opportunity to celebrate the liturgy with their family at either the 9:30 a.m. or 11:30 a.m. Mass. Classes are offered as follows: Sunday Kindergarten - 1st grade 9:30 - 10:30 a.m Sunday 2nd - 5th grade 10:20 - 11:15 a.m. (children will depart Mass after receiving communion) Tuesday 1st - 5th grade 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. Tuesday 1st - 5th grade 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. ** PLEASE CHECK THE CLASS SCHEDULE PAGE PRIOR TO COMPLETING YOUR REGISTRATION. SOME CLASS TIMES ARE FULL AND REGISTRATION AT THOSE TIMES IS CLOSED TO ALL NON-CATECHISTS ** Kristine Kvochak Faith Formation Director Last Modified on September 6, 2012
