Children¹s Mass Committee

Function
Once a month from September through June the 9:30 Mass is turned into a special children¹s Mass. Adult volunteers help plan and implement this Mass and make sure that the theme of the Mass is presented in a way that is understandable and relevant to  children.

Structure
This ministry currently is coordinated by Christoph Nauer. At this point it functions with four members. More people are needed to continue and enhance this important ministry to children.

Member Profile
Members from all segments of the parish population are welcome and valued. A love for children and the Mass, some creativity and the willingness to share your faith are helpful.

Time Commitment
The committee meets once a month on a Tuesday morning to plan the next children¹s Mass. Individual members may spend additional time on tasks defined by the committee. This seldom requires more than an hour or two between meetings. Members should be present during the children¹s Masses and help with tasks assigned and agreed upon during the planning meetings.

Term of Service
The committee has functioned without set terms.
