Children's Choir
Function
Children's Choir members play a vital role in the liturgical
experience of the parish: in the beauty of song, prayerfulness of
leadership, and the spirit of service to the community. Children also
learn some basic lessons in music reading and vocal training.
Structure
The choir
is directed by Shaun Garner. Parents are called upon to provide snacks,
make phone calls and assist with other activities.
Member Profile
All parish
and public school children in grades 3-8 are welcome to participate.
Time Commitment
The
children's
choir meets once a week, rehearsal on Wednesdays 3:25 - 4:30 p.m., and sings once a
month at the 9:30 Sunday Mass for children's liturgies. They also sing at
various times throughout the year at convalescent homes.
Term of Service
Fall
semester: October through December or Spring semester: February through
May or both

There are different ways to serve the same Lord,
and we can each do different things. Yet the same God works in all of
us and helps us in everything we do."
