As principal of St. Perpetua School, I have the pleasure of working with dedicated teachers and staff members, devoted family members, and enthusiastic students.  St. Perpetua School is committed to providing quality academics rooted in the Gospel message of tradition, service, and community.  Students plan and participate regularly in liturgical celebrations in addition to coordinating service projects for various outreach organizations.   Core academic instruction occurs through the use of technology in all our classrooms and computer lab, our garden of learning, science/art lab, and various classroom activities. 

I was fortunate to have attended 12 years of Catholic school in the Oakland Diocese and once I received my teaching credential, I returned to teach in the Diocese for 10 years.  In addition to receiving my BA and teaching credential from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, I have a masters degree from Cal State Hayward and my administrative credential from St. Mary’s College.  I have taught both primary and Jr. High classes and prior to St. Perpetua’s, I was the vice principal at Los Medanos Elementary School in Pittsburg.  I am lucky to have an understanding and supportive husband, Brad.  When I am not at school, I am most likely driving my children, Katie and Danny, to some sort of sporting practice.
